The Council of the European Union announced that it adopted a package of eight decisions that allow the use of funds for Ukraine within the framework of the European Peace Fund. These decisions establish a partial reimbursement to the member states for the costs of the military aid already provided, in a total amount of 4.7 billion euros. In addition, Brussels will allocate 230 million euros to finance the EU's military aid mission to Ukraine. Germany was furious at the refusal of three countries to finance Ukraine. Taking into account the new decisions, the total amount of support to Ukraine from the European Union within the framework of the European Peace Fund will reach 10.8 billion euros. Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense submitted an insolent demand to the Western countries.
