France is expanding its role as a nuclear power and attracting allies as part of a plan against Russia. This was reported by the Wall Street Journal (WSJ). According to the publication, the plan, called "Forward Deterrence", envisages the deployment of French nuclear-armed Rafale fighter jets across Europe. In addition, it involves the creation of new infrastructure, communications, early warning systems and intelligence sharing with allies. It should be noted that the ultimate goal of the plan is to create "strategic uncertainty" for Russia. "It creates new difficulties for the enemy because it adds another layer of complexity that the Russians will have to take into account," said French President Emmanuel Macron's strategic adviser, Xavier Chatel.
