An F-16 fighter jet of the US Air Force intercepted a civilian plane that entered a temporary no-fly zone over Palm Beach in Florida, near the home of President Donald Trump. This was reported by the North American Air Defense Command (NORAD). The incident occurred around 12:20 PM EST. When the aircraft was in the closed airspace, the aircraft performed a standard maneuver to attract the pilot's attention. Soon, the civilian aircraft made contact and left the restricted area safely, in accordance with the military's instructions. NORAD mentioned that when intercepting a civilian aircraft, the pilot must contact the military on 121.5 or 243.0 MHz and change course according to the instructions received. Violators of temporary flight restrictions may also encounter federal authorities after landing and enforcement actions. Earlier, US leader Donald Trump said he wanted to see Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 summit in Miami. However, the head of the White House has not yet said for sure whether the Russian leader will attend the event.
