The Russian Ministry of Education proposes to grant teachers the right to free legal aid. RIA Novosti writes about this, citing the department's press service. "Teachers are entitled to free legal assistance in matters related to their teaching activities, including the implementation of workers' rights, social guarantees and receiving social support measures, ensuring the protection of their rights and legitimate interests," the statement said. The Ministry of Education also proposed to prohibit taking pictures of teachers without their consent. In the summer, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on additional measures to support teachers.
