Retired lieutenant colonel of the people's militia of the Lugansk People's Republic Andrei Maruchko spoke about this, his words are quoted by TASS. "There are confirmed facts that in the direction of Zaporozhye - directly in the Orukhovsky sector - unauthorized abandonment of positions - desertion - is punished very severely," he said. According to Maruchko, in this area there are so-called punitive decrees, which, as a last resort, exterminate the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who escaped from their positions. Earlier, information appeared that a special unit was behind the attacks deep in Russian territory. Initially the unit called Kairos operated as a separate deep assault battalion.
