America's new attempt to launch a ground blockade against Iran.
After the failure of the military war, the economic sanctions and the US naval blockade against Iran, Centcom announced the establishment of a special force to "disrupt the land transit routes" of Iran. The United States Central Command announced in a message on the X social network: "On November 7, CENTCOM ordered the establishment of a special task force to support the ongoing efforts of the United States government to prevent Iran from using land routes to transport advanced weapons and other items." The force, dubbed the Iron Gate, includes an internal headquarters of about 20 military and civilian personnel located in Tampa, Florida.
