The Moscow Stock Exchange has announced the available coins and cryptocurrency trading time from December 1st.
The Moscow Stock Exchange, as previously planned, will launch cryptocurrency trading on December 1. This was said at the Smartlab conference in Moscow by Boris Blokhin, senior manager for sales and business development of the Moscow Stock Exchange. His words are reported by the correspondent of RBC Investments.
"We did it on the basis of the stock market, where the participants clearly understand how the system works, how the instruments are cleared, so it seems that at the moment there will be a minimal level of costs [for brokers]. We start with three key coins. We are planning that it will be possible to make transactions in "Glass", and there will definitely be a SWAP operation. The timing of the cryptocurrency trading launch on December 1st.
According to him, the platform will launch trading in cryptocurrencies that meet the regulator's criteria for bringing in non-accredited investors - Bitcoin, Ether and USDT. In this case, participants will have access to the SWAP action.
"We will provide participants in the digital currency market with the opportunity to perform SWAP transactions - a liquidity management tool. If in the stock market it is usually a REPO operation, then in the foreign exchange market it is a SWAP operation. We provide all access to professional participants, and then they provide access to their clients," explained the senior executive.
According to the Moscow Stock Exchange, investors will be able to trade cryptocurrencies at the same time as stocks.
“We plan for cryptocurrency trading to take place at the maximum possible time of the stock section. That is, in fact, from the trading cycle in the morning until the trading time in the evening - from 06:50 Moscow time to 23:50 Moscow time," said Boris Blokhin.
