Khotimsky called for an investigation of every default in the bond market Co-founder and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Subcombank, Sergey Khotimsky, called for an investigation of every default in the bond market to find out whether the risks were known to investors and the issuer at the stage of placing the securities. He stated this at the Moscow Stock Exchange Forum on Corporate Governance. His words are reported by the correspondent of RBC Investments. "We absolutely must investigate every default that occurs in the bond market," said the banker. Hotimsky also drew attention to the events that preceded the major default of one of the issuers. He called the company's IPO at the end of 2023 "disgraceful" and emphasized: "The story is long. It should start in 2023, and not with a change of accountant." Hotimsky did not name the company directly, but the circumstances he mentioned indicate that we are talking about the fuel operator EuroTrans. The company held an issue in November 2023, and in September 2026 made a full default on the coupon payments in all issues of bonds traded on the stock exchange.
