A military exercise involving the rescue battalion will begin today (Monday) at several locations across Israel and will continue throughout the week. During the exercise, forces will practice multi-scenario operations while utilizing rescue and emergency response capabilities and cooperation with other forces and emergency organizations. The exercise is intended to increase the operational readiness of the forces and their ability to respond to multiple situations simultaneously within the country, including complex emergency scenarios. As part of the exercise, increased movement of security forces and vehicles will be observed at several locations across the country. The exercise was planned in advance as part of the Home Front Command's 2026 training program. There is no cause for concern regarding a security incident.
