US Central Command (CENTCOM) commander Admiral Brad Cooper released a video update following his trip to the region where he observed US operations and recognized the service of some of the more than 50,000 service members assigned to the region under his command. Adm. Brad Cooper reiterated that the main world-recognized transit routes through the Strait of Hormuz have been cleared of mines. He also announced that the US had helped export more than 1.5 billion barrels of oil from the region.
