Israeli forces destroyed a memorial mural dedicated to Bugs Abu Attoan in the town of Dora, southwest of Hebron, in the West Bank. Israeli forces entered the town accompanied by a military bulldozer, deployed along residential streets and fired tear gas before destroying the monument in the center of the town. Bugs Abu Attoan (1948-1974) was a terrorist from Madura, near Hebron, who led a group responsible for attacks against Israeli forces in the late 1960s and early 1970s, with about 52 armed operatives. He was killed by Israeli forces in 1974.
