Follow Safa| The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine: Today marks 109 years since the evil Balfour Declaration, while our nation is going through one of the most difficult phases in its history in the ongoing war of extermination in the Gaza Strip, where they are exposed to siege, hunger and systematic destruction of infrastructure and the necessities of life, at the same time as the displacement and necessities of life of Judaism. Escalation in the West Bank and Jerusalem. This bloody moment recalls the roots of the Palestinian tragedy and the historical responsibility of British colonialism, which gave the land of Palestine to the Zionist movement, and opened the way for a fascist and racist settler-colonial project based on uprooting our people from their land and confiscating their rights. This is a crime that will not be forgiven or forgotten, and Britain's responsibility for it will remain as long as our people continue to fight to regain their rights. Today, after more than a century, this crime continues with new tools and clear partnerships. The military and political support given by the Western powers to the occupation and the cover they gave it during the war of extermination confirm the continued colonial responsibility for the tragedy experienced by our people. Popular anger is mounting in Britain, and demands are expanding to reveal the British government's role in the war. Tens of thousands signed a petition demanding an independent investigation into the extent of its participation and support in military operations against the Gaza Strip. This change in global public opinion represents an important force that must be built upon, strengthening communication with popular, union and progressive forces, and turning solidarity with our people into continuous political and legal pressure. The recent Israeli elections reveal the reality of the project facing our people, when Israeli governments change and criminal leaders succeed one another, while the Israeli project and its colonial program remain one and fixed in its essence and goals. This is a project based on settlement, annexation, displacement and denial of our people's rights, and it cannot be dealt with except by strengthening the steadfastness and resistance of our people, establishing their national unity and mobilizing all Palestinian, Arab and international energies to deal with this colonial project. Our people in Gaza, in the West Bank, in Jerusalem, in the territories of 1948 and in the diaspora have proven the unity of their identity and destiny and their adherence to their inalienable rights in full. Faced with the difficult circumstances surrounding our cause and the dangers that threaten its future, the comprehensive Palestinian national dialogue becomes a forced and inevitable transition.
