We confirm that the campaign of arrests carried out by the Palestinian Authority in several districts of the West Bank yesterday evening and in the early hours of the day, which affected released prisoners, activists and civilians, constitutes a violation of public liberties and the human rights of the Palestinians. The "revolving door" policy practiced by the security mechanisms in treating the released prisoners doubles their suffering and the suffering of their families, after years of being in the prison of Israel, the criminal for his people and their right to freedom. In light of the escalation in Israeli aggression and the bloody settler attacks in the West Bank, and the continued shelling, killing and aggression in the Gaza Strip, the PA should have stood by its citizens and pressured Israel to stop its crimes, instead of persecuting and arresting its people. We call for the immediate release of all the detainees and to stop the political arrests and attacks, and we call on human rights organizations to condemn these arrests and to take action and pressure to arrest them and release the detainees.
