The oppression and terror of the occupation will not succeed in changing its identity and our people's right to it. The coincidence of the attacks with the upcoming Knesset elections reveals the seriousness of what is happening to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which the occupation is trying to turn into an arena for political pricing and electoral competition, while the Palestinian people pay the price for these methods in blood, rights, lands and sanctities. We call on our Palestinian people to increase their presence and support at Al-Aqsa Mosque, support Jerusalem and strengthen their stability in the face of invasions and attempts to impose a new Jewish reality, and emphasize the need to act at all levels to protect the holy places and deal with the plans of the settlers. We call on our Arab and Islamic nation, and the religious and legal institutions, to unite efforts to keep the Al-Aqsa issue at the top of the list of priorities, and to launch broad support movements for the protection of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the city of Jerusalem, since the protection of the holy places requires a continuous practical stance, and action at all levels to stop the occupation and our holy sites, against the occupation and our holy sites.
