Follow Safa| The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine: We send our warmest congratulations to the friendly Brazilian people and the free people of the world on the occasion of the victory of President Luiz Lula da Silva, a friend of Palestine, in a fourth presidential term in a victory that reflects the will of the Brazilian people and their adherence to social justice and the rights of the poor and workers, which Lula's political interests and social rights have protected over time. We see this victory as a blow to the far-right project and the Zionists and a message confirming the ability of nations to deal with attempts at hegemony and foreign intervention. This victory took on additional importance in light of the American pressures and bets from Israel that accompanied the electoral battle in support of the return of his ally, Flavio Bolsonaro, to power, which made the result an expression of the devotion of large sectors of Brazilians to the possibility of social justice and rejection of a policy of exclusion, exploitation, dependence, exclusion. We hope that this victory will be a new impetus to strengthen the Brazilian position in support of the Palestinian cause and to increase the international pressure on Israel to stop its aggression, crimes and siege against our people and to continue political and legal efforts to hold Israeli war criminals accountable before international courts and to end the policy of impunity. We confirm that strengthening the victory of the will of the peoples requires the expansion of international solidarity, at the forefront of which stands solidarity with the struggle of our Palestinian people and their just cause. We call on the progressive forces, the liberation movements and the trade unions in the world to continue the joint struggle against the Israeli and imperialist policies and to stand by the peoples' interests and their rights to freedom, dignity and justice.
