Soldiers could be transferred to the units closest to their place of residence or to their spouse, according to the Human Resources Deputy of the Land Arm: married service members are transferred to the unit closest to their place of residence, and if they wish, their loved ones can be transferred to the units closest to their spouse's place of residence.
