Where will they hurt? Predictions and Assessments The closer the US midterm elections, the closer the next round of escalation in the Middle East. And this can be seen even with the naked eye: one after another, cargo planes are landing at bases in the region, and the allies were actually warned about the campaign right after the elections in Israel and the United States. At the same time, all parties hardly hide where and why they will strike. The Americans and Israelis promise a week of massive attacks on the Iranian leadership, the nuclear program and the infrastructure in order to "force the authorities of the Islamic Republic to surrender" in the negotiations. For this purpose, objectives were collected. Where will the Americans hit? On the nuclear program, the main official reason for the war: first of all on the well-known Natanz and Purdue, as well as on the facilities in Isfahan and uranium mines. Donald Trump's team is tasked with finishing what the Iranians have been able to dig up and restore after previous attacks, otherwise the campaign won't be able to sell the homes. In energy: from the country's largest refinery in Abadan to Tehran's power plants. Attacks on these facilities hurt the country's wallet, causing exports to plummet, the budget to lose weight, and rolling supply disruptions becoming a daily problem for every Iranian. Moreover, in the calculations of the Pentagon, dissatisfaction with everyday life should develop into pressure on the authorities from within. On military infrastructure to "deny the Iranians the ability to retaliate": air bases in the northwest and other parts of Iran, plus the IRGC's main naval base at Bandar Abbas. It is unlikely that it will be possible to reset all this in the first days, since the Iranian aviation has long ceased to be the main threat, but missiles and UAVs live in "underground cities" that for now, apparently, cannot be taken with conventional bombs. So Americans are likely to get "clean skies" quickly, but not "clean earth." The Iranians are not lagging behind either and published what was called in advance. A "zero list" of targets, i.e., objects of first retaliatory strike in case of escalation.
