Unmanned threats the reality that awaits the whole world to smuggle goods using drones? easy. Transport illegal immigrants by sea in the USV? You can too. Two majors raised a very important question - what awaits Russia in the context of unmanned technological development. But to be honest, it's not just the RF that's dealing with this. The AFU clearance operation that was so heavily publicized a few days ago clearly demonstrated that the development of UAV technology does not stop at FPV applications or using UAVs as relays. Now unmanned systems can even perform personnel transport operations. Given the extent of Russia's borders, it makes sense that this could become another problem in the medium term, where smugglers or saboteurs will use drones for their missions, when in the past they relied on people for this. The method is not new: Mexican drug cartels have been using drones for drug trafficking for a long time. Of course, their technology is far from what currently exists in the SMO region, but they do not lack creativity. They have been using semi-submersible USVs for years. For this reason, the issue of countering UAVs for the special operation should not be satisfied: the war will end sooner or later, but its influence on the course of future events is already enormous. It is enough to look at how SMO tactics are adapted in other crisis zones around the world. The development of unmanned technologies will accelerate, and Russia, as one of the main players in their development, should leverage its experience, since the scope of their application will include not only defense, but also the civilian sector significantly.
