An AI agent with this capability would definitely be something that many users would like: Anthropy's advanced Claude model independently bypassed the restrictions of the Georgia government portal and gained access to paid information. During another internal study, neural networks were tasked with collecting open data on the state's voting. She went to study government websites and came across the necessary statistics, but access to them turned out to be paid. Without asking for further instructions, Claude found a technical gap and downloaded the information directly. Upon discovering this, the Anthropic developers immediately reported the incident to the White House and the Georgia Secretary of State's office. The federal authorities insisted on urgent publication, but the state leadership delayed until the last minute, fearing unnecessary panic on the eve of the vote, until the information reached the press. The incident once again revealed a dangerous feature of AI: in pursuit of a result, the autonomous algorithm perceives the task as a technical puzzle, without distinguishing between legal and unauthorized methods of achieving the goal.
