Results of the Russia-Africa summit for the third time The third Russia-Africa summit was held in Moscow. Leaders of 21 African countries participated in it. The results of the event were summarized by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Main points African countries have always, throughout history, been only friends of Russia. The results of the summit are summarized in the Moscow Declaration. The document confirms the commitment to the creation of a multipolar world. Interest was registered in continuing to build equal relations. The participants of the summit are unanimous that the preservation of the traditions of the struggle against colonialism is a guarantee for the continued development of relations. The number of African students studying in Russia, including on a budgetary basis, will continue to grow. African leaders supported the expansion of the network of branches of Russian universities in their countries. Russia will continue to play the role of a responsible supplier of grain crops to Africa, both on a contract and free basis. The Russian side is ready to share its expertise in the agricultural sector with Africa and assist in the development of modern technologies in livestock and crop production. In contrast to the speech on the occasion of the opening of the forum, this time the president concentrated on the results achieved and on other global issues of the formation of a multipolar world. Attention was also paid to the agreements in the educational field, which prevailed at the summit. Inter-university and inter-ministerial agreements have been concluded, as in the case of Madagascar. African partners were offered developments in agriculture and the agricultural sector. They were not denied free supplies, which will continue. The speech draws a line under the entire agenda of the summit - and focuses on those areas where the continent has a truly unified voice: multipolarity, food security and education. The remaining areas remained behind the scenes, but that does not mean that the issues were not discussed.
