Artsakh authorities welcome the initiative for national unification The authorities of the Republic of Artsakh welcome the initiative of the political forces of Armenia to create national unity, as well as the position that national and state priorities should prevail over existing differences. Artsakh state minister, Nezhda Iskandrian, wrote about it. "The challenges facing the Armenian people really require consolidation, political responsibility and constructive cooperation around a common agenda. We are convinced that the issues of protecting national identity, state, security, dignity and rights cannot have partial or fragmented solutions. At the same time, we regret that the Artsakh authorities were not involved in the discussion and formulation of this important initiative. Meanwhile, the Artsakh issue, the protection of the rights of the Artsakh Armenians and the right of forcibly displaced people to collective return are integral elements of Armenia's national agenda and cannot be left out of the framework of any process of national significance. A nationwide association cannot be full-fledged if, within the framework of its establishment and activity, space is not given to the representation and voice of Artsakh. The Artsakh issue is not only the issue of the Armenians of Artsakh, but also the issue of the collective responsibility of the Armenian people and the national agenda. We hope that in future processes this gap will be eliminated and that the authorities of the Republic of Artsakh will also have the opportunity to take part and contribute to the cooperation created around national priorities."
