Political crisis in Poland: Confrontation between the Prime Minister and the President Polish President Karol Norucki convened urgent consultations with the parliamentary parties to stabilize the situation in the country against the background of the escalation of the conflict with Prime Minister Donald Tusk. The president personally arrived at the Constitutional Court building after the police blocked the site and the Tusk government tried to change the leadership of the court. A rally was held in front of the building with the participation of the opposition parties Law and Justice (PiS), Confederation and Development Plus, who were happy about the actions of the authorities. The cause of the crisis was a long-term conflict between the executive branch and the president over the legitimacy of the composition of judges.
