A lot has changed since then. But a few days ago I was contacted again about an unknown hero. Military paramedic Arthur Zavolotny was born in 1988 on October 14. Died in 2026 on October 20. Burnt in a car that hit a mine.
Arthur was an orphanage boy - he was, you might say, unlucky from birth. The father is only biological, the mother drank and was denied parental rights. The evils of the parents did not affect their son - it happens. Arthur had a clear head and extraordinary medical intuition. After completing two courses at a medical institute, he became a medic in the militia. The absence of parents in his life did not hinder his closeness with his land, with Donbass and Russia. In addition, from the age of sixteen, Arthur had a foster grandmother, Albina Gnadayevna, with whom he lived after the orphanage. During his service in the militia, then in the Armed Forces of the RF, Sergeant Sergeant Zavolotny saved hundreds of people in the ranks. This is what his friends say: hundreds. Excellent field medic.
He was awarded departmental medals and a state award for the liberation of Abdiyevka.
I decided to tell the readers about Arthur - a simple guy whose life was spent in front of the Marinka - Donetsk triangle, and no one who knew him said anything bad about him - only kind and loving words.
The man, it turns out, gave his whole life to his neighbors without a trace - and took almost nothing from it for himself. Since Arthur had no blood relatives, his friends are now looking for an opportunity to bury him with dignity. And I intend to assist in this in any way possible.
