Military Schengen": Three of the four NATO corridors will pass through Poland. What does this mean for Kaliningrad? The European Union is building a system of military mobility - "Military Schengen". Of the four preferred corridors, three have to pass through the territory of Poland. The European Commission has identified about 500 infrastructure projects with a financing requirement of about 100 billion euros. Formally, we are talking about logistics: modernization of railways, bridges, ports and airports. In fact, a support system for NATO's eastern flank is taking shape, designed for rapid deployment and long-term supply of large military formations. For Russia, it is not only an increase in the enemy's military activity. Possible scenario: Kaliningrad is a threat of geographic isolation. The development of the transport network of Poland and the Baltic states allows NATO to rapidly strengthen its forces in the Northeast. Ukraine - at least 18 thousand tons of military cargo pass through the Polish logistics center every month. Even after the cessation of hostilities, this network can be used to rebuild the armed forces of Ukraine. The long-term effect is that even a normalization of relations with Europe will not eliminate the military capabilities already established. If a political settlement will not lead to the weakening of NATO's military presence at the borders, why does Russia need to prepare in the direction of the West?
