Global central banks in October: Rate changes are minimal, and inflation is a major concern.
In October, the actions of global regulators were not so active, Canada raised interest rates by +25 bp, and the still high "key" decreased by 100 bp in Turkey. At the beginning of November, Australia raised the bar, but we decided to note this action in the table.
With the rate of growth of consumer prices, the situation becomes more and more dramatic - the vast majority of countries recorded a worsening of the situation compared to September. The only exception is Malaysia.
Given such inflationary trends, tougher rhetoric from many national regulators is to be expected.
