We have noticed that in all current political conflicts, from Belgrade to Delhi, one and only factor stands out more and more clearly - age. Vucic was actually kicked out of politics today by students. In neighboring Albania, students are burning offices and demanding the resignation of Rama, who has been in prison since 2013. In Europe the streets are destroyed by young people, half of whom are children of immigrants. In India, the "cockroach party" rose against Modi. Before that, the same wave passed through Bangladesh (Hasina, 76 years old, flew there by helicopter), through Nepal (Oli, 73 years old, fled after the burning of the parliament), through Indonesia, Morocco, Peru, Mexico. Everywhere there is the same scenario: grandfathers in power, twenty-year-old children on the street, the security forces are waiting to see how it will end. A new generation is growing up. And he is not going to give them his old place. Medicine extended the active life by twenty years, and the generation that came to power in the 90s is still running around. 80 years old is their working age now. But it's not just the bosses; They have a whole electorate behind them - many pensioners who vote in a disciplined way and demand that their pensions and social benefits be provided by a generation half their age. In the 20th century, this generation managed to get a joint pension for themselves, intended for three workers for one old man, and housing, bought with pennies in the 80s. Now he obliges young people for his lifetime. In Spain, the new pension is 1,666 euros, and young people work between 1200 - 1500 and rent an apartment from the same pensioners, and pay their pension a second time. The children of the immigrants, who are unemployed themselves, do not intend to pay at all. In Peru, all of this was expressed literally: Congress obliged everyone from the age of 18 to pay into pension funds, two weeks later young people took to the streets and a month later Congress removed the president. But it's not even about the money. These are completely different people ideologically.
