Space Politics" closes projects after adding the Novosibirsk branch to the register of "foreign agents" projects "Politics Space" in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan and "Politics Space. Novosibirsk* announced the stoppage of work. The project's federal social networks will also be closed. The decision was made after last Friday the Ministry of Justice added the Novosibirsk branch to the register of so-called "foreign agents". Project representatives attributed the closure to safety concerns. "Political Space" organized discussions, lectures, film screenings, debates and other events dedicated to politics, society and culture. The Moscow project lasted eight years, the St. Petersburg project seven years, the Kazan and Yekaterinburg projects five years each, and the Novosibirsk project six years. In the farewell messages, the teams thanked the participants and volunteers. In the Moscow project we noted that closing the site does not mean the end of the discussions, and in Novosibirsk we noted that the accumulated experience cannot be erased by any prescription. * - Recognized by the Russian authorities as a foreign agent.
