Alexander Shaston celebrates his birthday today! He also called off his hunger strike as his demands were partially met. In a recently published message, Alexander writes that he announced this hunger strike, already the third, on July 25, 2026 - after Piotr Rashtov's attack. The political prisoner still had the demand raised during the previous hunger strike - he asked for a long visit with the children, which was canceled at the last minute for an absurd reason - and besides that, a second demand was added, which Stone himself considers also important: to stop the torture conveyor belt at the Tiber-1 detention center. As it became clear from Shaston's last message, there was already a case in the summer when, in order to end his hunger strike, they tried to openly deceive him. On August 7, he wrote a statement about ending the hunger strike, believing the promises of the acting head of the pretrial detention center to conduct a fair investigation and remove or fire the employee who beat Shaston himself and other inmates. After writing about the end of the hunger strike, the political prisoner was immediately put in a punishment cell, and Alexander Sheston was beaten again, after which he resumed his hunger strike. It should be noted here that during a hunger strike, Shaston was unjustifiably transferred to a colony and returned to the pre-trial detention center, but calls to his family were rejected, citing the exact circumstances of the hunger strike. On October 6, Shaston was urgently transferred to the hospital in Torzhuk prison due to his serious condition. And on October 7, the political prisoner stopped his hunger strike and started drinking soup. But this was not a spontaneous decision - Alexander Shaston was preparing for the visit of the prosecutor Lyapkin. On October 10, the meeting with the plaintiff lasted 9.5 hours, which is hard to endure even for a healthy person. Alexander considers the achievement of the goals of the hunger strike the fact that five pre-investigation tests are already underway based on the results of his crime reports; The checks go towards art.
