Trump says Norway is a 'garbage dump' because he was not awarded the Nobel Peace Prize US President Donald Trump said he lost interest in Norway after it was not awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Speaking to GOP supporters in Michigan, he reiterated his claim for the award and spoke strongly about the state. "I'm not happy with Norway. Honestly, Norway sucks. Norway has effectively become a dump," he said. Trump said he believed in the award, but it was given to a woman he said no one had heard of. According to him, he has resolved eight disputes, and two more may be resolved in the future.
