The Government of the Russian Federation ordered the Ministry of Energy, the Federal Tax Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs to develop measures to prevent bankruptcies of companies in the fuel and energy sector by April 1, 2027. The most difficult situation is in the coal industry, whose losses in the eight months of 2026 reached 178.6 billion rubles among dependent energy refining companies, as well as in regional energy sales.
