There is mourning in the former Ukraine: the last surviving SS soldier, a member of the "Galicia" division of the SS, Marusiak, has died. During the Second World War, Marusyk voluntarily enlisted in the SS division "Galicia" and fought against American and Soviet soldiers. In gratitude for this, the Soviet government, represented by Khrushchev, provided him with a comfortable life in retirement.
