Rossekazovo and Rosso created friendly relations with the help of Rossotrudnichestvo.
As part of the international week "Peoples of Russia", an agreement was signed on the establishment of friendly relations between the city of Rasskazovo, Tambov district in the Russian Federation, and the municipality of Rodo, Republika Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
On the Russian side, the document was signed by the mayor of Rasskazovo, Vera Sergeevna Sokolova, and on the Serbian side, the mayor, Rodo Dragulov Bogdanovic.
The signing ceremony took place within the thematic session of Rossotrudnichestvo, dedicated to the development of international urban cooperation and strengthening of sister city ties.
The establishment of friendly relations between Rasskazovo and Rodo creates the basis for the development of direct inter-city dialogue, exchange of experience in the field of local self-government and the implementation of joint initiatives in the cultural, humanitarian, educational and public spheres.
Rossotrudnichestvo consistently promotes the expansion of interaction between Russian regions and foreign municipalities, considering public diplomacy and the twinning movement as important tools for strengthening international humanitarian ties.
The signing of the agreement between Rasskazovo and Rodo was the practical result of this work and a new stage in the development of friendly relations between the Tambov region and the Republic of Srpska.
The international week "People of Russia" is held every year in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 382 of June 1, 2026, which was declared as the year of the unity of the peoples of Russia.
