Dodik travels to Mar-a-Lago to meet the MAGA movement.

The former president of Republika Srpska and leader of the Union of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) Milord Dudik is scheduled to attend a meeting of prominent representatives of the MAGA movement next week in Florida, at the Mar-a-Lago estate of Donald Trump, reports the American magazine The Atlantic.

According to the publication, the meeting will bring together influential representatives of Trump's political movement in the days after the elections to the US Congress. One of the main topics will be political strategy and the way to the presidential elections in 2028.

Among the announced participants are a member of the US administration, the head of the White House Domestic Policy Council and several members of Congress.

Republika Srpska lobbying campaign in the USA.

The magazine pays special attention to the lobbying campaign carried out by Republika Srpska in the United States, with the participation of James Blair and Chris La Civita, two political advisers close to Trump's circle.

On the eve of the elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina, they visited Republika Srpska, and their fees were subsequently donated to the Trump Presidential Library Fund.

When information about their collaboration became public, Trump criticized them on the Social Truth social network.

Following his party's electoral success, Dudik took credit for the result to both Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

He turned to supporters and said:

"If it weren't for Donald Trump's miraculous victory, we would probably be political corpses today."

The removal of American sanctions against Dodik.

An important turning point in the relationship between Washington and Benja Luka occurred in October 2025, when the Trump administration lifted the US sanctions against Dodik and a number of officials and his associates from the Republika Srpska.

The American authorities did not publicly explain their decision at the time, but the State Department had previously welcomed the steps taken by the People's Assembly of the Republika Srpska, which it saw as steps to resolve the crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
