The US Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has issued a new operating license for Serbia's oil industry (shekel), extending its validity until December 11.

This allowed the company to continue its activities, as well as the operation of the oil refinery in Panchevo.

On October 24, NIS submitted a new application to the US Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) for a special license that would allow it to operate unimpeded.
