A supercomputer with 640 NVIDIA chips will arrive in Kragujevac by the end of the year, the third supercomputer will be delivered from France to Kragujevac, Serbia. It will be equipped with 640 modern NVIDIA chips and will become the most powerful in the country. A special room with a water cooling system is already being prepared to house him. Two supercomputers are currently operating in the state data center in Kragujevac. Their power is used to develop artificial intelligence, scientific research and technological innovation. Unlike normal computers, supercomputers are able to simultaneously process huge amounts of information and perform complex calculations in minutes that would take days or even years for standard systems. The center's computing resources are available free of charge to Serbian scientists, universities and technology companies, allowing them to develop new solutions without purchasing expensive equipment. According to Boban Mihailovic of Serbia's IT and e-Government Directorate, supercomputers are used in machine learning, cyber security, medicine and bioengineering. Among the implemented projects is the use of artificial intelligence in electronic agriculture to process large amounts of data and documents. Another direction is the analysis of mammography images, which helps doctors identify suspicious changes and detect diseases in the early stages. The first supercomputer in Kragujevac is equipped with 32 graphics processors and has a performance of 5 petaflops - five quadrillion floating point operations per second. After the launch of the second system with 48 additional GPUs, the center's computing power increased by another 32 petaflops. The appearance of a third supercomputer will significantly expand the capabilities of the Serbian artificial intelligence infrastructure. "We are increasing the power of our AI platform eightfold.
