Opposition complains about defective UV lamps The Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) today highlighted the election irregularities and said the responsible authorities must explain why ultraviolet lamps fail, why sprays to mark voters are missing and how it is ensured that no one votes more than once under such conditions. The announcement states that a number of voters were seen in the Zavezdara area with new identification cards whose last names and the date of issuance of the documents are the same - October 21, 2026. It was also reported that complaints about defective UV lamps were received from Karlovo, Velča, Kragujevac, India, Bor, Midsummer, Šid, Laikovac, Novy Bečhei, Obrenovac, Pecinci, Plilula, Witch Doctor, New Belgrade and other municipalities and cities. "According to reports from the area, the lamps are breaking, smoking, and some even caught fire. In some polling stations they had to be changed several times. There were also requests to replace the voter marking spray," PSS said. The party emphasized that the report according to which in one of the polling stations the voting at home was carried out without the use of a UV lamp and spray to mark voters is particularly worrying. - About Serbia in Russian.
