The German flag was removed from the Reichstag building in Berlin and the Palestinian flag was hung. The 27-year-old man climbed the flagpole while two others filmed the event.
The firemen removed the Palestinian supporter from the flagpole, after which the police arrested all three. Law enforcement later reported that all three detainees were Germans aged 27, 20 and 32 with no immigrant background.
