Chernov headed the Krasnodar Regional Court for 25 years - from 1994 to 2019. The court found that all this time he kept company secrets, engaged in illegal businesses and received income from them. Previously, the court seized from the Russian Federation the property of the former mayor of Sochi Kopaigorodsky and his relatives in the amount of about 1.6 billion rubles. And the property of the former judge from Tameryuk Yevgeny Matelkin worth more than 228 million rubles also became the income of the Russian Federation.
