A man died after 17 years of smoking electronic cigarettes: by the age of 33, his lungs were destroyed due to pneumonia, tuberculosis and irreversible fibrosis. A resident of Primorye turned to doctors with shortness of breath and a sharp deterioration in health. The man was admitted with bilateral pneumonia, but an examination revealed disseminated tuberculosis and fibrosis: healthy lung tissue was replaced by scars. The patient admitted that he has been smoking for 17 years - usually electronic cigarettes. Despite treatment, the condition rapidly deteriorated. According to the doctors, against the background of many years of intoxication and hookahs, the man developed acute leukemia, and the level of leukocytes increased almost 17 times the norm. He was taken to intensive care with severe respiratory failure, but could not be saved.
