The press service informed Interfax about the name change in connection with the 20th anniversary of the gallery. About 300 paintings, sculptures, graphics and archives were donated to the Pushkin Museum. A separate gallery opened in 2006. It presents works by Monet, Renoir, Cézanne, Gauguin, Van Gogh, Matisse and Picasso ◾.
