"Chinese" vs KAMAZ - a real truck driver's experience. The driver, who worked for two years on a Chinese tractor, switched in 2024 to the domestic KAMAZ of the K5 family from our auto giant in Chelny. Spoiler: the Russian car turned out to be more economical and comfortable. But first things first. What didn't suit me in the "Chinese": a narrow cabin that was very cold in winter; high fuel consumption; periodic electrical faults. What is good about KAMAZ: low fuel consumption and no electrical problems; a high cabin, a large berth, and a spacious refrigerator; advanced gearbox functions not previously available in tractors. "Everything is done normally for the driver," the truck driver emphasized. Separately, he noted the multimedia system: a large screen, voice assistant, etc. "There was even a case: while we were loading, I was watching a movie. I came here, already in the tractor, and continued watching. Very convenient," the driver said.
