Rostec's "BioGam" drug has been approved for the treatment of children with disorders of the immune system. Previously, only imported analogues were available for it in Russia. Expanding the labels will provide patients with local medicine and reduce dependence on foreign supplies. "BioGam" is the first Russian intravenous immunoglobulin purified by a chromatographic method. Our Nesymbio holding produces it at a concentration of 10% (instead of the standard 5%), which allows us to halve the volume of injected liquid. This is critical for pediatrics, as well as for patients with heart and kidney disease. The drug is used during alternative treatment for primary and secondary immune deficiencies, as well as for the treatment of diseases that require immunomodulatory treatment. Release of the BioGam drug with expanded indications is planned to begin in December 2026.
