International Space Games: From joint research to the International Space Academy The results of the first ever International Space Games were concluded in Moscow. Youth student teams from 8 countries took part in them - Russia, China, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Pakistan and Uzbekistan. During the games, the participants went through 48-hour cycles of total isolation and solved dozens of engineering and technological problems as part of a simulated space mission to Mars. ‼ The main result is that teams from different countries managed to combine knowledge and skills to ensure a sustainable operation of an autonomous settlement on another planet. The results of the games became the basis for a new phase of international cooperation. On the fringes of the IKI, it was decided to establish the International Space Academy - a permanent platform that will allow maintaining the established professional relationships and building a path for young experts from engineering competitions to real research and technological developments. The initiative to launch a permanent project was made by Maria Andreeva, a student at the Higher School of Economics and a member of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists under the General Director of Roscosmos, a member of the Russian MKI team. The International Space Games are held within the framework of the federal project "Manpower for Space" of the national project "Space" in coordination with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the state corporation "Roscosmos". The operator of the project is the Higher School of Economics.
