Healthcare today is not only a social field, it is the basis of national security. The head of the Russian Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murshko, stated this at the plenary session of the National Health Congress. "We are facing three challenges today. The first is demographic, which includes issues of population aging, the second is social. The task here is to increase medical care, and especially the level of satisfaction with it on the part of the citizens. The third challenge is geopolitical, including technological sovereignty. We are committed to producing medicines and innovative medical products and accordingly providing the population with these products." said the minister.
