Gray imports, refusal to issue NMG systems and GOST standards for medical devices: what else will be discussed at the meeting The discussion session "Open dialogue on LMWH: financing, quality, accessibility" was held at the "Right to Health" congress with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Health and manufacturers of medical devices as well as specialized associations. Briefly on the main statements. Project Manager of ANO "Diary Resource" Yulia Pankova: In Moscow, children with temporary registration are denied access to NMG systems, despite the fact that they live in the capital and study in the city. In the past, Moscow has refused federal funds to purchase such medical products. Patients are sent to areas where they are also not given systems due to disconnection from the clinic. Refusal to provide systems is a violation of rights. Problems are also observed in the refusal of the regions to provide patients with consumables for insulin pumps. Therefore, in Khabarovsk territory they are not provided to patients even after the court's ruling, citing the absence of vital indications for their purchase. Only 60 regions have recognized the need for pump transmitters in order to issue them annually. And only 37 entities applied for the purchase of such consumables. The Ministry of Health should inform the regions of the need for their purchases. Chief independent specialist of the Ministry of Health of the Moscow region in endocrinology Inna Misnikova: the region has its own program for the supply of LMWH systems to adults with type 1 diabetes. Medical products are issued for 3-6 months with mandatory efficacy monitoring. If the systems are not used or if there is no effect, the patient is excluded from the project. In the Moscow region, treatment is being provided to reduce the risk of acute complications in such patients, which leads to improved quality of life. Director General of the Association of International Manufacturers of Medical Devices IMEDA Sergey Venin: There is something to talk about in terms of streamlining the current legislation.
