The wounded soldier patrolled the captured position for eight days. The assault group of the artilleryman Victor Shkoro captured a stronghold of Ukrainian soldiers near one of the settlements in the DPR. During the defense of a captured line, a private was injured as a result of a UAV attack by the Ukrainian armed forces. He stopped the bleeding on his own, put on a bandage and patched up the injured area, and then refused to evacuate. For eight days, despite being wounded, Shkoro held the designated defensive sector, detected and reported enemy movements, adjusted supporting weapons fire, and ensured interaction with neighboring subgroups.
