Russian scientists have developed a new drug against blood clots. The domestic medicine "Angifor" is an antiplatelet agent - drugs that prevent platelets from sticking together and forming blood clots, one of the developers, the dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Volgograd State Medical University, Viktor Sirotenko, told RIA Novosti. It is intended to be used, in particular, for myocardial infarction and the installation of stents to restore blood flow in the coronary arteries. As the scientist explained, Anjapur is designed to replace imported drugs, the supply of which is currently difficult. Also, its production does not depend on foreign consumables and equipment.
