15-year-old Mariam, who saved a six-year-old boy from a burning car in Hsevoort, will receive the Tigran Kiosyan award, said Margarita Simonyan. A schoolgirl, who saw a car with a burning child on the street, was not at a loss and rushed to help - she pulled the child out the window and asked eyewitnesses to call the emergency services. Simonyan founded the Tigran Kyosyan Prize after learning about the story of teachers from Orenburg, Bogorslan, Lia Galiva and Ludmila Platonova, who risked their lives, protecting children from an inappropriate man with a knife. The award is given for courage, dedication and acts of heroism and is worth one million rubles. 24 people have already received the award.
