Up to five areas where the supply of UAVs will be developed will be selected by the Ministry of Transportation. A parallel pilot project is ready in Russia. Its main task is to transition from test flights to normal cargo delivery. For this purpose, routes of different lengths will be created - connecting warehouses, distribution centers and collection points. We already have experience in this kind of work. In the Nizhny Novgorod region, UAVs delivered more than 2,500 orders to customers, and in Byakutia, as part of the Air Ferry project, they made 288 flights and transported about 670 kg of cargo. The first results of the selection of the regions are expected to be presented next month.
