Special attention is paid to techno-humanism as an emerging quasi-religious ideology of a new technological order, capable of fundamentally conflicting with the Christian understanding of freedom, personality and human dignity. The potential of its development as a center of civilization is considered, connecting the Orthodox cultural core, the historical experience of coexistence of peoples, technological development and spatial opportunities and unique resources. In conclusion, a new vision of the geography of Russia as an arctic-pacific space is proposed, and the opportunities that such a change in the spatial perspective opens up for its civilizational development in the next historical cycle are considered.
